Bio:
Before my 21st birthday, I had survived cancer twice. In my first battle with cancer, I endured chemotherapy and surgeries with a strong and vibrant faith. But in my second battle with cancer, I fell to temptation and my faith crumbled in bitterness. I doubted whether or not God could be compassionate while allowing me to suffer so much. In rebuilding my faith and relationship with God, I felt compelled to teach others how to avoid spiritual cancers and the some keys I've learned to live a genuine Christian Worldview.
I began serving as a cancer patient mentor working to strengthen people in their faith during traumatic illnesses. I'm now a writing contributor and blogger working to build disciples and advance a decidedly Christian Worldview. I'm known for a smattering of personal posts as well.
I received a B.S. in Political Science and a B.A. in Philosophy from East Carolina University. I currently live in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Arlington, VA with my beautiful wife Katie.
